The second show of Act 2 at PFDC Sunsilk Fashion Week 2013 Day 2 was presented by Yahsir Waheed who showcased his Spring/Summer collection titled ‘Ai No Corrida’ meaning, the realm of senses. The collection was designer Yahsir Waheed’s tribute to the vibrant folk art of Pakistan and employed fabrics such as cotton, linen, chiffon and silk in white and black with splashes of colors such as bright fuchsia and saffron all combined together with modern cuts, to give a contemporary feel and look to the collection. Key trends featured were a subtle hint of androgyny as seen in an array of over-sized trousers, exaggerated sleeves combined with a general silhouette which was over-sized and exaggerated. The mughal era is the driving force behind this exclusive collection that involves amazing block prints work along with mughal patterns. Fused with cool summer colors like yellow, blue and their lighter shades. Yahsir Waheed has experimented and expanded his palette of colors and motifs, presenting his work in an extremely original manner. The spring/summer lawn collection shoot for 2012 is endorsed by Pakistan’s one of the top model Amna Ilyas. Yahsir Waheed is currently exhibiting his latest collection in Islamabad.
