‘Circus in the Sky’ is a full representation of Usman Riaz‘s approach to music and storytelling.
It is a concept album which follows the story of the Lost Boy and his journey through life. Each piece is a progression through the innocence and playfulness of youth, the joys and sorrows of life as one gets older, spiritual awakening and finally death.
Apart from purely orchestral music the album also contains percussive guitar passages and piano pieces written and performed by Usman himself.

Saeen is one of the songs off of Junoon‘s best-selling album ‘Inquilaab’ that helped to further establish their Sufi-Rock style of music. Now 20 years after the bands formation Usman Riaz interprets one of their many signature melodies in his own style.

After Introducing us to the talents of “Jumbo Jutt” & “Yasir & Jawad” in the first two episodes of Ufone Uth Records, the third artist is “Usman Riaz.” This Karachi based talented 20 year old musician is a Vocalist and percussive guitarist also inspired by Piano. The song he is going to perform at Uth Records is “Hum Tum” which he says never been performed before. For guidance he is assisted by Ali Noor from Noori which is going to be splendid featuring with this talent of Usman riaz. This is a strong combination of these two and this episode is awsome & follows the league of the previous ones. Watching Gumby & Ali Noor Together again is always a pleasure.
