I have been his fan from the beginning but recently developed a new respect for him after his finale at the Fashion Pakistan Week 3. And just a few days later he mesmerized the audience at BCW 2012 with the rich and heavily worked collection to bring an end to the first day of Pantene Bridal Couture Week 2012 Karachi edition. Tapu Javeri, a Photographer, Jeweler and artist, also a very down to earth and humble human being showcases for the very first time his tapulicious leather bags on the 4th day of Fashion Pakistan Week 2012 (FPW 3). One-off wearable art pieces that are inspired by his ‘Karachakra‘ exhibition of the iconic buildings and images of Karachi. The highlight of the 3rd day of Fashion Pakistan Week 2012 (FPW 3) was the bold collection by Baani D. Baani D is a concept that materialized when two sisters realized what they wanted to wear was not available anywhere in the young ready to wear Pakistani fashion. Baani D presented a ready to wear fashion clothing and surprisingly the collection was all about fun and being bold, which was refreshing to see after Shamaeel’s show. Baani D is determined to retain the fit, quality, and style. The clothes feature precise details like pattern strength, seaming, immaculate piping and top-stitching. The duo of young designers, Ayesha Sohail and Somaya Adnan, showcased their collection for the first time on day 2 of Fashion Pakistan Week 2012 (FPW 3). With their collection “Pink camouflage” inspired by the color of universal love “pink”. They present to you a feeling of calmness and warmth through blush , rose, salmon, fuchia and hot pink. Lets take you on a traqulising journey of hapiness and femininity. The gowns were appropriately embellished with diamantes motifs, chunri elements and chain-lets. He was the third designer of the night for Day 1 of Pantene Bridal Couture Week 2012 Karachi. Best known for his formals women wear and bridal wears, Obaid Sheikh displayed his fusion collection on the ramp of BCW 2012 boasting a profusion of off-whites with bold, contrasting colors and silver work.
