A designer of class and creativity! Ali Xeeshan is one of the renowned designers in Pakistan at the moment. Ali Xeeshan takes inspiration and stimulation from within the Pakistani culture which the designer feels is still an untapped reserve of creativity. While predominantly a couturier focusing on formal and bridal wear, Ali has also diversified into a diffusion prêt-à-porter line, a formal collection for men and a complete range of accessories. His latest work was published in Libas magazine december issue featuring models Neha Ahmed, Nooray Bhatti, Mehreen Syed, Sana Sarfaraz, Rabia Butt and ever so lovely Hadiqa Kiani. The only Indian designer this year, Charu Parashar opened the 2nd segment of Pantene Bridal Couture Week 2012 day 1. As a “new generation” designer, Charu Parashar is constantly motivated to take the exotic Indian craftsmanship and ancient printing techniques to the highest levels of luxury. The world of luxury couture in India has its own imprints – flowing hemlines playing peek-a-boo with bling, and fitted forms creating magic with the beauty that is the Indian woman. Charu Parashar showed an embroidery-based bridal collection. The designer introduced Indian design aesthetics with fabulous cuts and lace trimmings on bridals. Zindagi Gulzar Hai
Sanam’s father left her mother because she gave him three daughters and no sons. She grows up to be an exemplary student with complexes, who has major trust issues when it comes to men. She gets a scholarship to study at the country’s best business school and meets Zaroon, who falls head over heels in love with her. Zaroon is relentless in trying to talk to Sanam, but she sees him as just another flirt. She gives in to pressure and marries Zaroon but her low self-esteem constantly comes in the way of her happiness, not allowing her to trust her husband’s love. Will her personality ruin her marriage or will she conquer her complexes?

The 3rd and last day of Pantene Bridal Couture Week Lahore 2012 opened to a packed house with Ahmad Bilal showing his bridal line highlighting the beauty of autumn colours and concentrating on different textures and volume. His showstopper was donned by Fiza Ali. Tabassum Mughal who had made her debut on the ramp with the last PBCW in Karachi, and had become an instant hit, showcased her royal collection inspired by both the Victorian age and the Mughal era.
Pantene Bridal Couture Week 2012 organized by Style360 kicked off to a rollicking start today at Lahore. The beautifully decorated lounge and red carpet area, complete with fresh flower arrangements set the tone for the evening. The ramp decorated with Mughal arches, jharokas, picture windows, beautiful chandeliers, flower-peacocks and fresh flower arrangements all helped to give a surreal look to the venue.
[Press Release] Style360 hosted a lunch at a local hotel here for Lahore-based designers, stylists and other supporters of the network to celebrate the resounding success of the last Pantene Bridal Couture Week.
The lunch was hosted by president of the network, Sultana Siddiqui while Shanaz Ramzi, GM Publications and Public Relations HUM Network Ltd presided over the event. Leading names from the fashion fraternity such as Kamiar Rokni, Vaneeza Ahmed, Mehdi, Nilofer Shahid, Nomi Qamar, Hadiqa Kiani, Lajwanti, Asifa and Nabeel, and Hajra Hayat were among those present at the lunch.
In the last two years Style360, a brand of HUM Network Ld has become a major contributor towards the promotion of the local fashion-cum-bridal- industry by launching the bi-yearly BCW, held alternately in Lahore and Karachi so far with plans of expansion into other major cities. The network has also expanded on the brand of Style360 by launching a monthly fashion magazine, G.L.A.M and a bi-annual BW catalogue.
