The duo of Asifa & Nabeel was the sixth designer on the ramp for the day 1 of Pantene Bridal Couture Week 2012 Lahore edition. The label Asifa & Nabeel was established 13 years ago and is renowned and respected for its bridal, prêt and couture lines. Asifa & Nabeel adopts a simple viewpoint that translates very dominantly in its design interpretations “the celebration of womanhood”. The designer duo showcased pretty much the same collection as they did at PLBW 2012. However, some heavy bridals were pure classic and the models carried them out perfectly. Following Maram & Aabroo’s trend show at PFDC L’Oréal Paris Bridal Week 2012 Day 2, the designer duo of Asifa & Nabeel showcased their bridal collection – a ‘Tribute to Jahan Ara Begum’ – the eldest daughter of Shah Jehan and Empress Mumtaz Mehal. Taking inspiration from this revered sub-continental icon who was an engineer, a writer, a painter and an artist, she was known for wearing the most opulent chadors and kameezes, her passion for rubies, diamonds and sapphires and her robes were resplendent with motifs delicately embellished with beads, rubies, sapphires and shimmering sequence. Asifa & Nabeel’s ode to the era was reflected in this collection based in fabrics such as net and lace velvet interspersed with intricate beading and zardozi works with elegant cuts. The collection was presented in hues of midnight blue, earthy greens, golden and maroon. Asifa & Nabeel also showcased their menswear collection comprising of kurtas, shirts and jackets inspired by Mughal Royalty. Pantene Bridal Couture Week 2012 organized by Style360 kicked off to a rollicking start today at Lahore. The beautifully decorated lounge and red carpet area, complete with fresh flower arrangements set the tone for the evening. The ramp decorated with Mughal arches, jharokas, picture windows, beautiful chandeliers, flower-peacocks and fresh flower arrangements all helped to give a surreal look to the venue.

[Press Release] Style360 hosted a lunch at a local hotel here for Lahore-based designers, stylists and other supporters of the network to celebrate the resounding success of the last Pantene Bridal Couture Week.
The lunch was hosted by president of the network, Sultana Siddiqui while Shanaz Ramzi, GM Publications and Public Relations HUM Network Ltd presided over the event. Leading names from the fashion fraternity such as Kamiar Rokni, Vaneeza Ahmed, Mehdi, Nilofer Shahid, Nomi Qamar, Hadiqa Kiani, Lajwanti, Asifa and Nabeel, and Hajra Hayat were among those present at the lunch.
In the last two years Style360, a brand of HUM Network Ld has become a major contributor towards the promotion of the local fashion-cum-bridal- industry by launching the bi-yearly BCW, held alternately in Lahore and Karachi so far with plans of expansion into other major cities. The network has also expanded on the brand of Style360 by launching a monthly fashion magazine, G.L.A.M and a bi-annual BW catalogue.

The Bridal Couture Week 2012 Karachi takes a high jump on day 3 of the event.
The grand finale of Pantene Bridal Couture Week organized by Style360 took place here yesterday. As is customary for the organizing team, they had given the entire ramp and stage a fresh look with new pictures in the picture windows.
The show opened with Asifa and Nabeel’s impressive collection comprising sartorial wear as well as bridals which played with multi-layers and textures. She was followed by Tabassum Mughal who showcased a fusion-wear bridal collection and then moved on to heavily-worked, ethnic bridal ensembles. VJ Syra Yusuf donned her showstopper.
