Atif Aslam to Record Tracks for “Race 2″ – Bollywood Movie

Popular Pakistani singer Atif Aslam, who has given various hits to Bollywood in the past, is recording a song or songs for the upcoming Bollywood film ‘Race 2′ in Turkey, according to the Facebook page of ‘Tips films’. ‘Race 2′ is sequel to the 2008 film ‘Race’ for which Atif had sung the chart topping ‘Pehli Nazer mein’. The music of ‘Race 2′ is again being composed by ‘Pritam’ and currently the film is expected to be released in January 2013 meaning that its music should be out before the end of this year.Fans are already waiting for Atif’s four performances in ‘Coke Studio Season 5‘ the first of which will be aired on 13th May.

The only most anticipated movie of Pakistan after Shoaib Mansoor’s Bol, Bilal Lashari‘s “Waar” is all set to be the visual treat and take Pakistani Cinema to a global level. The expectations are huge from this star featured blockbuster that includes Shaan, Ali Azmat, Meesha Shafi, Ayesha Khan, Shamoon Abbasi and Hamza Abbasi. With the debut of Ali Azmat, Meesha Shafi, Hamza Abbasi and Ayesha Khan on the big screen the story of Waar is inspired by the true events that presently have been happening in Pakistan. With a budget of estimated $ 2,000,000 (Over 17 Crore RS) this is the most expensive movie to appear from Pakistan. Story written by Hassan Waqas Rana and directed by Bilal Lashari, who also served as assistant director for Shoaib Mansoor‘s Khuda Ke Liye.The soundtrack is by Qayaas, and Ali Azmat & Meesha Shafi are also supposed to compose a track.
