The third Fashion Pakistan Week (FPW 3) 2012 would be held in Karachi from 7th April to 10th April. Those exciting four days where Pakistan’s most influential and powerful designers will all be under one roof.

Fashion Pakistan is the nation’s leading stage where all the creative designer’s exertions get a chance to give a demo of their capability work to the global market of style. After a huge success of Fashion Pakistan week 1 and 2, Fashion Pakistan presents the viewer’s FPW 3 along with more excited and glamorous style. The biggest event in the history of Pakistani Fashion Industry is finally taken place in Karachi after struggling the event’s date issue; the day has come to show the diligently exclusive achievement of Pakistani Fashion Industry to the market of style. Starting from the 7th of April 2012 the event would last up to 10th April.
What makes Fashion Pakistan Week as one of the mega fashion event of the year is the fact that there is a hard working team behind the scenes who was fortunate enough to create a major hype in media and fashion world even in these tough times. This prestigious event is already talked about, tweeted about and blogged about from various channels. Another thing is the live stream of the event which is going to happen for the very first time in Pakistan.
Lately, Pakistani Fashion industry has traditionally initiating aesthetic designs and served to the nationwide and it’s been a while Fashion Pakistan has crossed the limitation of success. Moreover, the purpose behind all this accomplishment is the improving procedure of dedicated designers. The 30 incredible designers who are going to showcase their quality work on the ramp are ready to rock at FPW. Some huge names are also participating, such as, Bunto Kazmi, Shehla Chatoor, Sana Safinaz, Deepak Perwani, Nomi Ansari, Shamaeel Ansari, Rizwanullah and many more who have done the thrilling and dazzling creations for Pakistan Fashion Industry.
Designers to watch out for!!
One of the outstanding and leading Fashion Designer of Pakistan, Kazmi has served for 3 decades to the Pakistani Fashion Industry. Bunto is well known for not just her beautiful ensembles but also for reviving traditional embroideries thus gaining fame as a “Revivalist”. It’s been a while since Bunto Kazmi’s creations have dazzled the ramp, four years to be precise. “I am showing at FPW3 not for orders or business opportunities but to simply support the council that I belong to.” said Bunto Kazmi.
Sana Hashwani and Safinaz Munir are the two inspired designers behind the fame of Sana Safinaz. Their collection is always graceful along with fusion of shades. Recently, Sana Safinaz has launched breath taking designs of “Spring/Summer Collection 2012” that are going to be showcased on the ramp. “We wanted to showcase this element of our designs.” Sana Safinaz continued, “The collection is mostly in burnished gold with pops of jewel colors in between.”
Deepak Perwani is a very dedicated and aesthetic name from the list of Pakistani designers. This established designer is not only expert in grooms’ wear but he also specialized in bridal wears along with accessories and formal sarees. Iconic Deepak Perwani always comes to the ramp with unique and exceptional designs and he never follows constant or ongoing fashion. Deepak Perwani mentioned, “I just want to present a collection that is stylish and simple and reflects my design philosophy.”
Pakistani Fashion Designers have made the country acknowledged in the style and fashion world. Maheen Khan is a queen of Pakistani Fashion since she has started her career. She has become a brand heritage for dedicating her thirty five years to the Fashion industry. Maheen Khan said, “I enjoy showing at fashion weeks because it forces me to set aside my commercial work, get on to the drawing board and really innovate.”
Feeha is going to display her collection titled “Minnaal” on the ramp of Fashion Pakistan Week 2012. According to Feeha,” this collection is solely dedicated it to my sister Minnaal Tanvir Jamshed, who passed away tragically last year in Paris. She was the eldest of five and was the soul of the family. She was a force to reckon with and this collection is just an inch to celebrate and remember her at her best which was practically every second, whether she was going through the most toughest phase of her life I don’t remember her not smiling. This show is to remind us of angels that exist in the world and teach you things that stick with you for the rest of your lives.” The collection would remind everyone who knew Minnaal.
