I did not write this song with our cricket team in mind – I wrote it 17 days before we bowed out of the Cricket World Cup 2011. I wrote it instead, with each and every single Pakistani in mind. I wrote it for us as a Nation – for our times in sorrow, for our times of happiness, our times in pain and our times of gain. But this particular montage goes out as a tribute to our Men-in-Green.We salute you Afridi, for leading us from the point of no return, to a point where we can keep our heads held high. We thank you, our Men-in-Green, for giving us the opportunity to realize as a Nation, what we are capable of when a hundred and seventy five million hearts, beat for one single cause.We thank you – for making us Proud Pakistani’s ..
